Part of our Fun Friday programme - hands on science lessons

Our first session was all about making simple machines

Here we are designing a vehicle using a wheel and axle. We followed this up in our home learning by exploring simple machines around the house

A lot of creative thinking is going into our designs. We are also learning to make a prediction and explain our thinking using scientific language.

Physics experiments are our focus area this term. Here we are making miniature motors.  

We designed a propeller which was powered by our motor. We experimented with how to rotate the propeller forwards and backwards.
